Mission and ministry in India is such a diverse involvement. Therefore, no one single book, no one single article, or no one single write up on the above topic can exhaust all the implication that are involved.

Mission and ministry in India mainly was the vision and the missiological perspective of the western missionary mind. The K.W.M.C. of 2008, is called upon to examine and evaluate the ministry and the own hearts in the areas where we have failed to carry out an effective Christian Ministry in the 21ST century. Today, whoever wants to be a missionary in India, one needs to understand the Indian context properly in its political, cultural, social, economical and religious background. India being the pluralistic country, such as the multi dimensional, multi lingual, multi ethnic, multi cultural, multi ideological diversities. Therefore, it is the need of the hour for all men and women who are called and commissioned by our Lord Jesus Christ must and should realize that, the church is the result of God’s mission to the World. One should also bear in mind that, we are called by our Lord Jesus Christ to be colleagues and co-workers in carrying out the great commission as instruments. We as the missionaries of the present world must acknowledge the fact that, the Church is the agent of this mission as she proclaims and expounds this gospel of Jesus Christ and penetrates into World on partnership with God’s mission to the World. The Church, as missionary people of God, connects the good news of Jesus Christ to mission and mission to gospel
